When it comes to eyebrow techniques, Airbrush Brows is one of the newer methods. It is therefore understandable that there are still many questions about it. We have listed here the 6 most frequently asked questions from last week, with the answers, of course.

For Airbrush Brows, you need a liquid eyebrow dye. Mrs.Highbrow PowerStain is such a liquid dye, specially developed for "regular" Hybrid Brows (with brush) as well as for Airbrush Brows. In the latter case, you mix PowerStain with the liquid Airbrush Activator, not with the creamy Developer, because then your mixture will be too thick.

For Airbrush Brows, your mixture should be the thickness of milk. Mix in a ratio of 1:1.

PowerStain is available in 6 beautiful colors, allowing you to create various shades for the eyebrows. From light to dark: Cool Mist, Desert Sand, Ginger Snap, Muddy Mocha, Coffee Bean, Velvet Noir.

For Airbrush Brows, use one of the darker shades. Muddy Mocha and Coffee Bean in particular are perfect airbrush colors. Velvet Noir is black, and you will use only on dark skin, or to blend the other colors with and make them more intense.

Cool Mist and Desert Sand colors are on the light side for Airbrush Brows; Ginger Snap gets very warm. These colors are perfect for mixing or using solo with "regular" hybrid brows.

With Airbrush Brows, it is possible to achieve a perfect result, especially with a tight bottom. This is achieved through the use of templates, which ensure an accurate and perfect shape of the eyebrows.

Another advantage of Airbrush Brows is that you can work in thin layers. This allows us to create a beautiful base for the eyebrows. By building up the color layer by layer, you can achieve exactly the desired color, shape and intensity.

In addition, you can create a beautiful ombre effect with Airbrush Brows. This unique technique allows you to create a gradual transition from light to dark, by not including the front in the first two layers, but only in the last layer.

Clean your airbrush after each treatment. It is done as follows:

1. Remove the excess dye from the metal cup with a cotton ball.
2. Add (distilled) water to the cup and spray in a bowl or on a piece of kitchen paper to remove any remaining dye.
3. Remove the cup and place the large plastic cup on the gun.
4. Fill with lukewarm (distilled) water.
5. Set the airbrush to position 2.
6. Put your finger or a cotton ball on the nozzle.
7. Press the trigger and slowly pull back. The water will now bubble.
8. Let the water bubble for 10 seconds until the water runs clear, then discard the water.
9. Repeat this 2 more times.
10. Fill the cup with water again and remove your finger or the cotton ball from the nozzle and squirt the water into a bowl or sink.
11. Spray until no more water comes out of the gun.

At the end of the day's Airbrush Brows creation add the following steps:

1. Remove the metal cup, as well as the needle cap and nozzle cap. These are the two rings that make up the nozzle.

2. Place the parts in a container with water and possibly special airbrush cleaner or other cleaning agent.

3. With a rag, clean the hole of the paint cup.

4. Very carefully clean the needle with a cotton swab with alcohol.

5. Remove the cup, needle cap and nozzle cap from the bowl. Dry all parts with a paper tissue.

6. Now you can put everything back together and your airbrush is ready for the next day full of Airbrush Brows.

Are you going to use your airbrush for the first time? Leave it on for at least an hour and a half. After your device is sufficiently charged, push the button on the bottom. Then push your button on top of the gun (the trigger) and slowly pull it back at the same time.

Many airbrush devices turn on immediately upon pressing the on and off button. So the Mrs.Highbrow Airbrush only works when you press the trigger and pull it backwards.

To make sure your client enjoys her Airbrush Brows as long as possible, it is important to give good aftercare advice. This is basically the same advice as with Henna or Hybrid Brows.

• During the first 24 hours after the Airbrush Brows treatment, keep the brows dry and thus avoid contact with water.
  
  
• Avoid swimming pools, saunas and steam rooms during the first few days after the Airbrush Brows treatment, as the steam and water can affect the color intensity.
  
  
• Do not use cleansers on or around the eyebrow area after Airbrush Brows, as this can fade the color.
  
  
• Avoid direct sunlight for the first 24 hours and cover the eyebrows when possibly going under a tanning bed. Sun and tanning beds can trigger allergies.
  
  
• Try to avoid getting oily products on the eyebrows to prevent the color from fading sooner.
