Wax your own brows and upperlip. With Mrs.Highbrow DIY Wax Kit. For both facial and body hair removal. How does it work? Let's dive into it.
Waxing means nothing more than: hair removal with warm wax. The wax is applied to the skin in liquid form, turns hard, and when you pull it off again, you also pull out the hair. Roots and all. This keeps them away for a long time. Longer than shaved hair.
Mrs. Highbrow's Pinky Pellets Wunderwax is a real power wax. Gentle on the skin, but tough on hair. Whether you wax your brows, upper lip or entire body. And even your bikini line or legs. This so-called hot film wax removes every hair. This is because the wax pearls are based on polymers. This makes the wax very elastic, so you can remove the wax without it breaking. No residues remain on the skin. Another advantage: the polymers allow you to apply the wax at a low temperature.
APPLY WITH SPATULA
Apply Mrs. Highbrow's Pinky Pellets with a spatula. Use a small spatula for the brow area, a medium for between the eyebrows and a large spatula for the upper lip and the rest of the face or body.
Before you get started, it is important to clean the skin very well. Only when the skin is spotlessly clean and oil-free, you prevent inflammation afterwards. Mrs.Highbrow's Get Set Pre Epilation Gel is a refreshing gel that cleanses and soothes the skin. The perfect preparation for hair removal. You can also use the gel during the treatment.
Always end a treatment with a good aftercare product. Mrs.Highbrow's Cool Down After Epilation Gel is there to soothe the skin. With menthol for a tingling effect. Bonus: hair stays away longer. The gel contains no oil and prevents inflamed hair follicles.
STEP-BY-STEP WAXING PLAN
STEP 1. TURN ON THE WAX HEATER
Fill the container with a layer of wax of about 5 cm. Set the heater to setting 195. It takes about 10-15 minutes to heat up the wax. Keep the lid on the pot while heating.
STEP 2. CLEAN THE SKIN
Apply some Get Set to a cotton pad and thoroughly clean the to be waxed skin. Dry well with a tissue. if the skin is still damp from your gel, the wax will not hold properly.
STEP 3. WAX CHECK
Get a spatula and stir the wax well. The wax must be a liquid mass. Scoop - as if you were scooping an ice cream - and hold the spatula upside down. If the wax doesn't drip off the spatula, it is ready for use. Check the inside of your arm to make sure the temperature isn't too hot.
STEP 4. APPLY WAX
Apply the wax in a straight line, in the direction of hair growth. Let it harden for a few seconds and press. If the wax is already hard when you put it on the skin, this means that the wax is setting too quickly and it will not take the hair. This may be because the heater is not set high enough or because you waited too long before applying the wax of the spatula. When applying the wax, make sure that the wax is applied equally thick throughout the area. This will keep the wax from breaking during removal.
STEP 5. REMOVE WAX
Stretch the skin well - don't bite your lip - and pull the wax off in one quick movement - near the skin. Against the direction of growth. Make sure you make a good beginning to have enough grip and all goes well in one go. Is there still a single hair behind? Do not go over this spot with the wax again, but remove it with tweezers.
STEP 6. AFTERCARE
After you have finished waxing, put some Cool Down After Epilation Gel on a cotton ball and treat the skin with it.
